Searching for good show ideals

For awhile now we have been brain storming trying to come up with good show ideals.
We have had several good ones that we are working on but we are always looking for a way to enhance our shows. Why? So that the whole experience of the performance lasts. This is no easy task just ask any real band who has put on a show. Basically the show has to go off without a hitch. I'm not talking about broken strings power failure or even a fight. I'm talking about are the people at the show having a good time, are they waiting around or is there something to do? Is the bar making money?Are you making money? Does everything sound good? Is the agreement between the band and the bar holding up. Last but not least is there an aspect of the show that puts it over the top? Like free food or drinks a costume contest,etc. This is not always a must but we believe its shows like this that create the momentum to have many great shows.
